Ronny Faber Dahl ‘If I just laid down (series untitled)’

During the Sculpture Quadrennial Riga 2016, Ronny Faber Dahl erects a spatial installation made from textile objects. His main building blocks are fabrics for sportswear and the colour combinations of these materials suggest references to certain anarchist flags.

Ronny Faber Dahl (1987) lives and works between Oslo and Genoa, Italy. He holds a Master from The Academy of Fine Art, Oslo, and a BFA from Ligurian Academy of Fine Art, Genoa, Italy. He has exhibited at SP333 (2011), Sala Dogana (2013) and Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art (FREE Q 2013), Genoa; Mediterranea 16 Young Artists Biennial (BJCEM 2013), Ancona; Surplace, Zentrum (2016), Varese; Dortmund Bodega (2010), Kunstnernes Hus (Graduation Show 2015), LYNX (2015) and Noplace (2016) Oslo; Galleri Fisk (2014), Bergen; and Kurant, (2013), Tromsø. Since 2010 he is the coordinator of the artist-run space 4235, based in Genoa, Italy. Upcoming include Norwegian Sculpture Biennial 2017, Oslo.
